The controller of data collected through this site is the publishing company, whose details appear below and in the legal notice.

Data collected
The site collects data through three channels, and three only: the quotation request form, the Google Analytics audience measurement described in the section on cookies and local storage, and the Ahrefs Web Analytics audience measurement, which stores nothing on your device. They do not behave alike: the form sends only what you choose to send, whereas both audience measurements send information, to Google and to Ahrefs, as soon as a page opens, before you have answered the banner and even if you decline. The provider hosting the site may also log connections for its own operation and security; it is named in the legal notice.
The form collects the information you enter in it:
- your company name
- the name of the person to contact
- an email address
- a telephone number
- a description of your needs
- the catalog references you selected
The service that routes your request also keeps its own technical log, on the company’s server: it records a request arriving, with your company name and the number of items, the success or failure of its delivery, and a truncated form of the connecting address — the network the request comes from, not your device. Your email address, your telephone number and your message are never written to it.
When a page loads, the audience measurement sends Google a request carrying the address of the page — including whatever follows a question mark in it —, the title of the page, the address of the page you came from when there is one, your browser’s language, your screen size, information about your browser and your system, and a number drawn at random on each page load. Your IP address reaches Google with every request, as it reaches any server your browser contacts.
On top of that come the actions the site reports to the measurement by name: opening a product page (with the page’s identifier, the product’s name and family); adding a reference to your quotation request (with the page’s identifier and the product’s name); opening the quotation basket (with the number of references in it); sending the form (with the number of references sent alone, and nothing of what you wrote); changing language (with the two languages concerned); and using the catalog filters — family, material, capacity, neck finish, and the text typed in the search field.
One of those actions deserves to be singled out, because it passes on text you write yourself: whatever you type in the catalog search field is sent to Google once you have finished typing — when you leave the field or press Enter. That text also appears in the address of the catalog page, which every measurement request then carries for as long as you stay on that page. It is the only freely typed text whose content the site passes to Google.
The above is what this site’s code sends or asks to send. What Google receives beyond it — automatic reports from its own tag, settings of the company’s Google Analytics property — and what it does with those requests when you have not accepted the measurement cannot be read in that code: this site can neither control it nor attest to it.
The second audience measurement, Ahrefs Web Analytics, is a service of Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. Its program is downloaded from analytics.ahrefs.com when each page opens. It then sends to the same server, for each page viewed, the page address — including whatever follows a question mark —, the page title, the address of the page you came from when there is one, your browser’s languages and your screen size; if it meets an error, it also sends the technical message of that error. Your IP address and information about your browser reach Ahrefs with each request, as they reach any server your browser contacts. This program stores nothing on your device: no cookie, and nothing in your browser’s local storage.
No sensitive data within the meaning of the regulation is requested: no origin, opinion, health data or biometric data.
Purpose
The form data serves only to process your quotation request and reply to you. It is used for no other purpose: no unsolicited marketing, no profiling, no resale.
The data of both audience measurements serves to count visits and to learn which pages and which catalog references are viewed, so as to decide what to develop and what to fix. The site authorizes no advertising use of that data: Google’s advertising settings stay declined in all circumstances.
Legal basis
Processing of the form rests on pre-contractual steps taken at your request: you ask for a quotation, and replying means keeping the information you provided for as long as necessary.
Audience measurement is subject to your consent for part only of what it does: setting cookies. Cookies are set only if you have accepted. Sending the requests described above does not depend on your consent: it happens in every case. On what legal basis that sending rests, this policy does not say: that is a legal assessment, and it does not belong in this document.
Ahrefs Web Analytics does not depend on the banner: it stores nothing on your device, and its requests are sent in every case. On what legal basis they rest, this policy does not say, for the same reason.
Recipients
Your request is passed only to the people within the company responsible for answering it. It is not sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. Its technical delivery may involve a provider acting on the company’s behalf and on its instructions alone, making no other use of the data.
The Google Analytics data is sent to Google LLC, which provides that service; the Ahrefs Web Analytics data, to Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., a company established in Singapore, which provides the second. The site sends it to no other recipient. Google’s role regarding that data — processor, controller or joint controller — follows from the Google Analytics terms rather than from any choice made by this site: this policy does not characterize it.
The site gives Google no authorization to use the data for advertising: the three advertising consent settings stay declined in all circumstances. The settings of the company’s Google Analytics account — sharing with other Google services, access to reports, retention period — cannot be read in this site, and this policy does not describe them.
International transfers
Three transfers of data cross a border, and they do not all have the same starting point or the same recipient.
The company is established in Morocco, where your request is received and processed. Morocco is not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, which means the level of data protection there is not presumed equivalent to that of the Union.
If you reside in the European Union, this transfer is based on the performance of the pre-contractual steps you requested: without it, your request could not be handled.
The second leaves your device, wherever you are, for Google LLC, in the United States: the audience measurement requests are sent to its servers. It happens as soon as the page opens, whether you have accepted, declined or not yet answered; the banner does not govern it. This site cannot say in which countries the servers that receive a given request are located.
The safeguards Google places around these transfers are a matter of its own terms: this policy does not describe them and does not claim they are sufficient. That is a legal assessment, and it does not belong in this document.
The third also leaves your device, wherever you are, for Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., established in Singapore: the Ahrefs Web Analytics requests are sent to analytics.ahrefs.com as soon as the page opens, whether you have accepted, declined or not yet answered the banner. This site cannot say in which countries the servers that receive them are located, nor describe the safeguards Ahrefs places around that transfer.
Retention period
Quotation requests are kept for as long as needed to process them, then for the duration of any commercial relationship that follows, and finally for the applicable limitation and accounting retention periods.
Technically, your request sits in a queue while it is routed to the person who will answer it — a few seconds under normal conditions. If routing fails, it stays there and further attempts are made at regular intervals. For as long as the failure lasts, your request is not deleted: the company has chosen to keep it until routing becomes possible again, rather than lose it. It is erased as soon as it is delivered.
Two situations, and only two, lead to a request being deleted without having been delivered. If the email address given cannot be read by our systems, attempts stop after seven days. If the request becomes unreadable in the queue — which can only result from data corruption — it is deleted without delay, since it can never be sent. A failure of the mail service, by contrast, never causes a deletion.
Your rights
You hold the following rights over data concerning you:
- a right of access: to know what data we hold
- a right to rectification: to correct inaccurate data
- a right to erasure: to request its deletion
- a right to object: to refuse a processing operation
- a right to restriction: to freeze its use while a dispute is resolved
- a right to portability: to receive a usable copy

Complaints
If our reply does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel (CNDP) in Morocco.
If you reside in the European Union, you may also refer the matter to the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Security
The site’s pages are static: they are served as they are, with no database behind them. The quotation request form is the one exception: your request is received by a service running on the company’s server, which writes it to a queue for the time it takes to route it. That queue answers to no public address — that service alone reads it — and the request is erased from it once delivered, under the conditions stated above.
Exchanges between your browser and the site are encrypted by HTTPS, and your request travels through that same encrypted channel. No measure makes a system impregnable: what is described here is what the company puts in place, not a guarantee of outcome.
Automated decision-making
No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken by automated means. Every quotation request is read and handled by a person.
